The Svea Organic Knit Skirt is a playful, knitted, midi pencil style, crafted from soft organic cotton. This contour silhouette skirt features a high waist with wide ribbed waistband and two side splits. An ELK favourite shape in a mid-gauge knit construction, featuring a graphical check pattern of steel blue, vedant green, cream and black. This versatile knit skirt pairs with the matching Svea Organic Knit Sweater or simple tops and shirts for every day, work-to-weekend and evening looks.

      MATERIAL

      100% Organic Cotton

      Made in a smooth, woven organic cotton with a soft structured finish.

      Cotton is a natural plant fibre. It is known for being breathable, durable and soft. Organically grown cotton avoids the use of harmful pesticides and chemicals in the farming process, helping to maintain good soil health, protect waterways and and reduce water & nitrogen pollution compared to conventional cotton.

      • Cold hand wash using eco-friendly detergent.
      • Do not machine wash (even on delicate cycle).
      • Do not rub, wring or spin dry.
      • Squeeze out excess water.
      • Gently pull wet garment into shape.
      • Dry flat in shade.
      • Cool iron on reverse.

      MAKER

      This garment was designed in Melbourne by the ELK team and made by Tongxiang Jimmy Fashions in China. Jimmy has worked with us since 2010 making both woven and knitted apparel. Jimmy is actively working with us to make workplace improvements to ensure the factory is safe and compliant.

      The factory is signed up to Sedex, and undertakes regular SMETA social compliance audits.
